Prof. Harald Reichelt (Scenography Commission) and Martin Tschermak (Technology Commission) have resigned from their positions. The Board would like to take this opportunity to thank Prof. Reichelt and Martin Tschermak once again for their many years of cooperation and support of OISTAT on behalf of the DTHG.
Prof. Tina Kitzing has now been appointed as representative of the DTHG in the Scenography Commission as successor to Prof. Harald Reichelt. Dipl.-Ing. (FH) Johannes Musch has been appointed as successor to Martin Tschermak and will represent DTHG in the Technology Commission.
The Executive Board has also nominated a candidate for the international Executive Board, the EC: Prof. Dr. Christof Nix, Director of the Theater Konstanz, is prepared to support OISTAT’s management work on an international level. For the current legislative period the DTHG had not sent a candidate, since the reorganization of the federation claimed all attention.
The DTHG board now considers it important to support the work of OISTAT in a phase of change and to look for possibilities to make the international network fit for the future. Currently there are the following OISTAT commissions with the following representatives of the DTHG:

The OISTAT Technology Commission met at Showtech 2009 in Berlin. On Tuesday, 16 June, the Commission met at the invitation of Technical Director Andreas Diekmann in the foyer of the Theater des Westens. Eight delegates from Belgium, Canada, France, Israel, the Netherlands, Poland, the USA and Germany were represented. After Toronto in 2005, OISTAT hosted its congress in Seoul, Korea. At the same time, the second exhibition for scenography, World Stage Design (WSD), took place there. The World Congress takes place every four years and is associated with elections of the President and the Executive Committee. Of the nine candidates for the Executive Committee, they were elected: Michael Ramsaur, USA, Sarka Havlickova, Czech Republic, Jerome Maeckelbergh, Belgium, Al Cushing, Canada, Richart Bauer, Sweden, Bert Determann, Netherlands and Duncan Ei Eu Chang, Taiwan.
Prof. Harald Reichelt (Szenographie-Kommission) und Martin Tschermak (Technologie-Kommission) sind von ihren Funktionen zurückgetreten. Der Vorstand bedankt sich an dieser Stelle noch einmal bei Prof. Reichelt und Martin Tschermak für ihre langjährige Mitarbeit und Unterstützung der OISTAT im Namen der DTHG. Als Nachfolgerin für Prof. Harald Reichelt wurde jetzt Prof. Tina Kitzing als Vertreterin der DTHG in der Szenographiekommission benannt. Dipl.-Ing. (FH) Johannes Musch wurde als Nachfolger für Martin Tschermak benannt und wird die DTHG in der Technologie-Kommission vertreten. Weiterhin hat der Vorstand auch einen Kandidaten für den internationalen Vorstand, das EC, benannt: Prof. Dr. Christof Nix, Intendant des Theaters Konstanz, ist bereit, die Leitungsarbeit der OISTAT auf internationaler Ebene zu unterstützen. Für die laufende Legislaturperiode hatte die DTHG keinen Kandidaten entsandt, da die Reorganisation des Verbandes selbst alle Aufmerksamkeit beanspruchte. Der DTHG-Vorstand hält es jetzt für wichtig, die Arbeit der OISTAT in einer Umbruchphase zu unterstützen und Möglichkeiten zu suchen, das internationale Netzwerk zukunftstauglich zu machen. Derzeit gibt es folgende OISTAT- Kommissionen mit folgenden Vertretern der DTHG:

Juni tagte die Kommission auf Einladung des Technischen Direktors Andreas Diekmann im Foyer des Theater des Westens. Acht Delegierte aus Belgien, Kanada, Frankreich, Israel, den Niederlanden, Polen, den USA und Deutschland waren vertreten. Nach Toronto in 2005 richtete die OISTAT ihren Kongress in Seoul, Korea aus. Parallel fand dort die zweite Ausstellung für Szenografie, World Stage Design (WSD), statt. Der Weltkongress findet alle vier Jahre statt und ist mit Wahlen des Präsidenten und des Executive Commitees verbunden.
