In 2013 the DTHG as the German Centre of OISTAT again endeavoured to support the work in various commissions and other projects.
DTHG had issued an invitation to the Technical Commission for SHOWTECH 2013, which met in Berlin on June 18 and 19, 2013.

Reinhold Daberto attended the annual meeting of the Architecture Commission on 10 September 2013 in Cardiff, Dr. Gabriele Högg on 12 September 2013 at the meeting of the Education Commission and on behalf of Andreas Bickel at the meeting of the Technology Commission on 11 September 2013 also in Cardiff.

The competition and exhibition WORLD STAGE DESIGN took place in Cardiff in September this year. The Scenography Commission, which had given itself the new title Performance Design, also met there. Prof. Tina Kitzing represented the DTHG as a member of the commission.
The regular OISTAT Congress with elections to the executive board also took place in Cardiff. Unfortunately, the DTHG nominated candidate, Reinhold Daberto, was not elected. This was all the more regrettable because it was associated with expectations to question previous structures of the world association and to search for new contemporary solutions. This task must therefore be continued for the next few years.

Thanks to the extensive collaboration of Karin Winkelsesser for the German part as a member of the publication commission, the first volume of the extensive work: World Scenography 1975-1990 was published in 2013, the first comprehensive publication on the worldwide development of scenography, which is to be supplemented by further volumes from 2014 onwards.

Auch im Jahr 2013 war die DTHG als Deutsches Zentrum der OISTAT bemüht, die Arbeit in verschiedenen Kommissionen und weitere Projekte zu unterstützen.
Zur SHOWTECH 2013 hatte die DTHG eine Einladung an die Technik-Kommission ausgesprochen, welche am 18. und 19. Juni 2013 in Berlin tagte.

Reinhold Daberto nahm an der Jahrestagung der Architekturkommission am 10. September 2013 in Cardiff teil, Dr. Gabriele Högg am 12. September 2013 an der Sitzung der Bildungskommission und in Vertretung von Andreas Bickel an der Sitzung der Technik-Kommission am 11.09.2013 ebenfalls in Cardiff.

In Cardiff hatte im September d.J. der Wettbewerb und die Ausstellung WORLD STAGE DESIGN stattgefunden. Die Szenografie-Kommission, welche sich den neuen Titel Performance-Design gegeben hatte, tagte dort ebenfalls. Prof. Tina Kitzing vertrat als Mitglied der Kommission die DTHG.

In Cardiff fand auch der turnusmäßige OISTAT-Kongress mit den Wahlen zum executive board statt. Leider wurde der durch die DTHG nominierte Kandidat, Reinhold Daberto, nicht gewählt. Dies war umso bedauerlicher, als dass damit Erwartungen verbunden waren, bisherige Strukturen des Weltverbandes zu hinterfragen und nach neuen zeitgemäßen Lösungen zu suchen. Somit ist diese Aufgabe auch für die nächsten Jahre weiter zu verfolgen.

Durch die umfangreiche Mitarbeit auch von Karin Winkelsesser für den deutschen Part als Mitglied der Publikationskommission erschien 2013 der erste Band des umfangreichen Werkes: World Scenography 1975-1990. Damit liegt erstmals eine umfangreiche Publikation über die weltweite Entwicklung der Szenografie vor, die 2014 ff. durch weitere Bände ergänzt werden soll.
